Mother Of Christmas how happy we are 

to follow the light of that shinning star  .

Mother Of Christmas how precious the sight

In Bethlehem on that first Christmas night .

Mother Of Christmas in this modern age    

we hold the book and read from the same page .

Mother Of Christmas the story is told 

and appreciated by young and old .

Mother Of Christmas a heavenly light shone down  

and guided the shepherds that night .

Mother Of Christmas the angels took flight 

and remained there with you all through the night ,

Mother Of Christmas when heavens peace fell

 it landed there upon Emmanuel .

Mother Of Christmas we think of that night

 and suddenly everything seems so right  .

Mother Of Christmas throughout all of time

 nothing can compare to that night divine .

Mother of the sunrise as we open our eyes

may we have the vision to make right decisions .

Mother of the sunrise how bright and how wise

To leave things that are gone in the clear light of dawn ‘

Mother of the sunrise there is no confusion ,

you are  real and not some illusion .

Mother of the sunrise you are there every day

In our thoughts and our words as we begin to pray .

Mother of the sunrise how blessed is the light

That shines down on us here to show us what is right  .

Mother of the sunrise the dark night it has gone

And now I see the hope that helps me carry on .
