Mother of prisoners locked up in a cell

Have mercy on them , it’s a living hell .

 Mother of prisoners there may be a few

who would fall on their knees and pray to you .

Mother of prisoners some old and some young ,

Their may be some innocent there among .

Mother of prisoners ,  they’re judged for a crime  

Send down for that and they’re doing sometime .

Mother of prisoners they’ve no where to hide ,

Their privacy is something put aside  .

Mother of prisoners they all need mercy ,

Help them daily with each difficulty    .

  Mother of prisoners its hard old place ,

many have anger all over their face .

Mother of prisoners I’m asking of you  ,

To protect those who are recently new  .

of a mother’s heart who would do anything

bring them justice

and encourage them

and make right what is so wrong .
