isn’t it odd , they can’t get on ,

Catholic and Prod .

some say they won’t, 

others might do, 

While others don’t .

it’s baffled me ,

the way some treat

their family .

They are so wrong ,

When you would feel .

you don't belong .

isn’t it sad when religion 

makes people mad.

Some cannot  pray 

somehow I think 

God finds a way .

in magnificent colours and clusters they reach out to you .

naturally wild and piled with thorns is how they have always grew .

In grottos and gardens their fragrance is ascending to you  .

showers of flowers on altars 

are left every day for you .

Mother of support 

when the walls came crashing down

and there was no one around ,

that’s when I found , you were there . 

Mother of support 

when my life was on the line ,

when I was losing my mind ,

time after time , you were there .

Mother of support 

you were there and pulled me through

all the hard times that I knew ,

how can I ever  thank you  .

Mother of support 

when I had nowhere to go

and no one wanted to know  ,

you said hello , you were there  .

Mother of support 

you were there , when I was cold and hungry

and when I had no money , you came to me .

You were there  .

Mother of support 

you were there right by my side ,

when all my hopes had died ,

because of you I survived .

Mother of support 

when ever they criticize,

I pray and I close my eyes ,

then I realise , you were there ,

Mother of support 

when it all comes to an end

then I will whisper Amen ,

thank you my friend ,

you were there  .

you were there and now I see

the way everything should be ,

you were always there for me .
