on a wing and a prayer

answer those who place their hope in you .

open doors for people out of work 

and don't know what to do .

help us move all our mountains of troubles

into  rolling hills .

Mother of despair ,

we bring to you the worries of all our debts

and unpaid bills .

Mother of despair, 

shine a light of hope

for all the lost souls living in darkness .

Mother of despair, 

settle the troubled minds

in the lives of the young and restless .

 Mother of despair,

bring consolation to those 

who are going through grief and loss .

Mother of despair, 

support all those

who find it hard to carry their heavy cross .

  Mother of despair,

we trust in you to help us through 

all that things that drag us down .

  Mother of despair,

take our fears and problems and 

replace them with an answer found .

 Mother of despair,

bring back to the ground

all the things we leave  hanging in the air .

thank you for always being there

when we fall into despair .

help us to listen more
and not to give advice .

grant us a heart
willing to pay the sacrifice .
Mother of compromise,
may love and understanding
always be our guide .
Mother of compromise,
open our mind to truth
and put away our pride .
Mother of compromise,
through your intervention
miracles come our way .

the things that people do .

Mother of laughter we often take things so serious too .

others might do, 

While others don’t .

it’s baffled me ,

the way some treat

their family .

They are so wrong ,

When you would feel .

you don't belong .

isn’t it sad when religion 

makes people mad.

Some cannot  pray 

somehow I think
