you watched helplessly as your own child

was mocked and abused and then nailed to the cross .

Mother of grief ,

you know the pain of losing a child too soon ,

help all who are going through that loss .

Mother of grief , 

wipe away the sorrowful tears of a parent

who has lost a child through self harm .

Mother of grief ,

weep with all those who mourn

and may your empathy be there with an outreaching arm .

Mother of grief , 

help those who are left to begin again 

and bring an end to the sadness they’re in .

Mother of grief , 

bring healing to the hurt ,

peace to the anger and restore the emptiness within.

encourage men who have to endure daily harassment

working in factories .

Mother of fathers ,

heal the hearts of men who have been divorced

and are unable to see their children .

Mother of fathers,

inspire words of understanding and kindness

into the paternal minds of all men .

Mother of fathers,

open the hearts and minds of children

to understand the love that a father has .

Mother of fathers ,

bless every kind-hearted Father

in every generation that ever was .

secure a safe environment for all who can no longer remain at home

and have been placed on a waiting list .

who are feeble and old and find it difficult to find their way .

who feel lost and confused

with the things they have to do everyday .

society seems to exclude .

for the abused  and the wrongly accused
