Of Songs

Mother of songs
that were sung long ago
in some foreign
tongue everyone did know,
When many
voices joined in as one
To worship and
pray as each day begun .
Mother of songs
that are sung here today
In different
tongues that have so much to say .
We sing and we
praise , the message’s the same
All languages
shall bless and know your name .
