In the places where they stay    .

Mother of the blue mantle I place your protection

around those I love who are in danger’s way .

Mother of the blue mantle may your light expose all evil

that in darkness tries to hide away .

Mother of the blue mantle into your arms I place

my love so that no harm would come near today .  

Mother of the blue mantle protect the personal space

In the places where we work everyday .

 Mother of the blue mantle into your hands I place

the demands of others that won’t go away  .

Mother of the blue mantle keep away the wicked

who plan to hurt and abuse with things they say  .

Mother of the blue mantle I give over to your care

all those who are sick and in pain today .

always around all those who turn to you and pray .
