Mother of the shroud

to get away from the crowd we come to this place

and kneel downbefore your face .

Mother of the shroud

outside the world is so loud

but in your presence

there is a peaceful silence .

Mother of the shroud

we are not haughty or proud

so we humbly pray that you would help us today  .

Mother of the shroud

whenever time is allowed

bring us to this place

and remind us of your grace .
