no human eyes can see   .

 I fall down upon my knees

and ask you to look at me .

Mother of open eyes, 
recharge me when I’m weary   

and I’ve nothing more to give .

you see the future

and the past of this life that I live .

Mother of open eyes, 
your presence in my life  

I have always loved so dearly .

Mother of open eyes, 
show me a glimpse of hope      

that I may see you more clearly .

Mother of open eyes,
 bring compromise to situations where I may be blind .

Mother of open eyes,

enlighten the darkness that would try to distract my mind .

 look with favour

on the things that I am trying to do .
