thank you for being there
when there was nobody who reached out and gave .

It was you shone the light
That helped me make my way out from the cave .

you helped me stand
when I was too weak to confront those who held me
down .

when the world turned against me
you came into my life and hope was found .
Mother of care
you lifted me from despair
and gave me a reason to try again .

When I was at my worst you gave me your best
and I’m so glad you came..
