Mother of the orphan answer my prayer , 

for all of those children with no parents to care .  

I place In your arms and inside your heart , 

those who need comforted when their world falls apart .

Mother of the orphan is their a chance 

to alleviate the victims of circumstance  

who are the products of drugs or countries at war, 

or because of famine or a dictators power .

Mother of the orphan open the door  

to those who never had a family before , 

with a brother or sister to talk to 

or a Mum and Dad to help them all their life  through .

Mother of the orphan , we’re not alone ,

 for we always have you in your  heavenly home , 

so make us a place where we can feel safe

 and no one is left out , like an unwanted waif  .
