when all I see is frowns .

protect me from the anger

calm my nerves from shaking

whenever people upset me .

be there at my side to guide me

when I have lost my way.

My heart is like an inner clock
 that’s waiting for the chime ,

Praying and waiting for an answer

 to come in good time

A prayer takes a few seconds to say
but some never pray..

Maybe they think you won’t hear them

but they’re wrong any way .

As all the years come and go

we get so busy you know

and we say we don’t have time to pray

but really , hello ?
