You weep for those who are suffering .

You are always so understanding

Help those abused by people with greed   .

sorrow bears the fruit of those in need .

Blessed are those who receive your grace .

May we always see your loving face .

Mother of tears

You see all the things we cannot bear .

I come to speak to you 

But find there is nothing to say .

I am lost without words

and struggling to find my way .

It feels like a dark night of the soul

has descended down .

and find you are there to enlighten me .

may the beauty of eternity glow

help me to be confident 

and see the positive things in me .

around you there is a cloak of mystery

that no one can see through .

how beautiful is the time that I share

in prayer here alone with you .

in your presence there is a healing 

that comes over me as I pray .

give clear sounds to those who cannot talk .

give patience to those who cannot wait .

encourage those who cannot relate .

Mother of old age

assist those who are feeble and weak .

Mother of old age 

help those who are lost for words to speak .

comfort those who are lost and lonely

help us to accept what has to be .

look down upon us now

and listen to the prayers we say

can we be near to you  

when you are oh so far away .

protect us and keep us safe .

and may the light that shine’s around you

lift our eyes to the heavens

when all we see are the dark clouds above .

Bring us to a quiet place

where we are able to pray to you there .

remove the barriers for those who search for an answer

to their prayer .

Encourage those who have lost their way

and comfort those who feel alone .

Remind those who live in poverty       

Of the eternal wealth they own .
