when I work so hard , defend and guard me

as I drive home at the end of the day .

when my eyes start to close

and I begin to doze Its hard for me sometimes to pray  .

when I awake and my back would ache

When I cannot speak because I’m too weak

of all this commotion .

I give to you from my heart

all my prayers and devotion .

enlighten my spirit

to where I can live peacefully  .

unblock a path for me .

when  tribulations won’t let me be .

that increase my difficulty .

when there is no answer to my problems ,

bring enlightenment to all those who do not believe .

You brought a star over Bethlehem  

guide the way for refugees who are told they need to leave   .

You brought tears to statues in Japan  

soften the hearts of all those who are bitter and angry  .

In India you filled milk into pots   

bless the mothers of  babies who are poor and hungry .

You brought secrets to Medjugorje ,

may you inspire all those

who conceal things that need to be shared .

bring an answer to the prayers of people all over the world  

who think their prayers aren’t being heard .

we are called to be Saints 

here in this life that we live .

when in our innocence we suffer 

help us to forgive .

of the Saints who have tried .

bring healing  to the hurting 

after the tears been  cried .

Mother of Saints,

You have always been there 

In all the hardships I’ve gone through.

accept  the prayers from my heart
