in the blink of an eye , 

help me find the time to pray to you .

Mother of time , you are always there 

to listen to petitions  

and in time an answer comes through .

today I thought of you 

and I realised that your love for me 

will never change .

help me tomorrow and always  

to remember to take time to honour your name .

open a way for the rich 

to share some of their wealth .

replace all selfish thinking

so giving can begin .

encourage more kindness .

remove the disguise of those who pretend

to be friends so we can see the faces of our enemy .

shine a light into the darkness of deception

and remove the cloak that hides their true identity .

take away the confusion in communication

being used to prevent assistance to those in need .

Mother of extraction

bring compensation and justice and true reconciliation

for all who have been abused by greed .  

     

Mother of extraction

bring forth processions of people

seeking your intercessions for help

and let them know that you are there  .

 

Mother of extraction

    seek out those who are lost in the world today

and show them the way to find themselves

and to know you care .

  

Mother of extraction

examine the agendas behind all those in

authority so their true motives would become clear  .

Mother of extraction

Draw out healing waters from the underground springs

and send signs so all the world would know that you are near .

I place into your loving arms

the tears that fall upon the face

of those in fear .

Mother of the crying

I fall on my knees and ask

for compassion for those

who cry with no one to hear .

Mother of the crying

for all those who weep for justice

may they find an answer to resolve

what is wrong .

Mother of the crying

listen to the sounds of those who cry

and suffer in pain and help them to be strong .

Mother of the crying

help those who don’t find

an answer to prayer

and are frustrated to understand why .

Mother of the crying

comfort those who mourn in grief

and be with them in their loss

whenever they would cry .

Mother of the crying

defend those who are bullied and harassed

by proud and arrogant people each day .

Mother of the crying

be there at the hour of our death

to take all our fear and

wipe all of our tears away .

we can help  each day .

be in the welcome

of all who come to stay

and the laughter we share

Be in the silence

 of peaceful moments there

be in the hearts of those

who come through the door .

be in the memories

of the years gone before .

be in the hands at work

with kindness each day .

Mother of the vacant heart ,

I am a good man trying my best

working hard without rest .

Mother of the vacant heart,

I need a hand , more or less right away .

My life’s in a mess .

Mother of the vacant heart,

I’m contacting you for some assistance

and for empathy  .

Mother of the vacant heart,

So many things are happening now

that are troubling me .

Mother of the vacant heart

I have faith , I have hope .

But I feel lost and unloved sometimes .

Mother of the vacant heart ,

There are no personal favours  

to get me through the hard times .

Mother of the vacant heart

I ask , I seek , I pray,

but all I find are troubles today .

Mother of the vacant heart

I cannot fill the spaces

where everything’s taken away  .

 Mother of the vacant heart,

You have always been there ,  

with all of the hardships I have known .

Mother of the vacant heart

I grieve for the emptiness

and hope it will leave me alone .

You’re always there to listen

to the things I’m going through .

Mother of understanding,

No matter how difficult

I know I have recourse to you .

Mother of understanding,

 life is full of situations , tribulations

and hardships .

Mother of understanding

I have no one else but you

and now I need you to assist .

Mother of understanding,

I’ve done all I can and I can’t do any more .

Please help me .

In the silence of my heart 

I’m asking for divine mercy  .

Mother of understanding,

Without even speaking

I know you have heard me in my heart .

Mother of understanding ,

I am in need of so many things

I don’t where to start .

Mother of understanding,

I’m so grateful of the perpetual help

I have with you .
