Mother of justice,

here I stand as the wrongly accused, help me here today,

I’ve always been a child at heart and  pray to you each day .

Mother of justice,

flash the light ,  start the fight , stand up for the wrongly accused ,

beaten and abused, its hard to walk in a poor man’s shoes .

Mother of justice,

I need to know that I’m  free to come and go as I please ,

I can’t stand tall as I’ve  been living too long on my knees ,

Mother of justice,

defend me in my innocence, protect me from all harm,

the situations getting tense , time to raise the alarm .

Mother of justice,

Shelter me from all of those who intend to do me wrong. 

They’ve built a case to put me in a place I don’t belong .

 Mother of justice,

beat the drum ,ring the bell ,  send in the truth for everyone ,

let them know what’s going on , for I’m the innocent one .

Mother of justice,

show them that they are in the wrong and set the record straight ,

let justice walk in a poor man’s shoes before it’s too late .

that will not allow truth to get through .

to obstruct the minority .

defend the innocent

who are robbed of their identity and authority .

Mother of conflict
through your intervention may
justice come for those who have
been unfairly treated .

Mother of conflict
compensate those who have suffered

so reconciliation  can be
completed .

open the doors for all those who have no where to go ,

with a baby on the way .

to have a child is a gift from God ,

it’s a beautiful and miraculous thing .

and comfort the Mother in what she’s suffering .

There’s a silence that I found

in a place where I’ve never been before .

In a high place that surrounds you

all my prayers to you began to soar .

your beauty is growing

like the wild flowers scattered underneath the sun .

the sun’s dancing in the sky ,

and the world’s a brighter place since you’ve come .

your encouragement always lifts me up

Be the protective shield so all diseases have to yield
