I love the way you help me when I’m sad .

You became the best friend that  I have had .

I feel very close to you  when I pray,

And nothing can take this feeling away .

 

Mother of my heart

You’ve always been there  from the very start .

and I’ve placed your name deep within my heart .

You have shown me things I understand

and helped me to become a better man.

 

Mother of my heart

In this world I try to honour your name ,

and no matter what that will ever change ,

Now and forever we will never part ,

Because you are the Mother of my heart  .

The world around me is changing so fast

every time that I open my eyes  ,

like the new moon that shines

and as time passes by another new moon will rise .

Show me how to bring change

to how things used to be and  introduce something new

in the things I say everyday where I go

in what  I am trying to do .

There are new moment’s to live

and I need to forgive all those hurt’s from the past

help me to be a new person today

with a love in my heart that will last .

there’s a new day ahead with so much to do

in all of the places I go ,

with a new state of mind , help me to find

time to spend with those people I know .

memories will never change

but time can arrange new places for me to see ,

even though everything has changed

I accept what is and why it has to be.  .

with new thoughts to share of the world out there,

I need to say how I feel today

give me the grace to stand face to face

with all those who like to push me away  . .

and are going through loss and grief .

shelter and protect all those who are being  persecuted

and marginalized because of their faith and belief .

Mother of justice,

here I stand as the wrongly accused, help me here today,

I’ve always been a child at heart and  pray to you each day .

Mother of justice,

flash the light ,  start the fight , stand up for the wrongly accused ,

beaten and abused, its hard to walk in a poor man’s shoes .

Mother of justice,

I need to know that I’m  free to come and go as I please ,

I can’t stand tall as I’ve  been living too long on my knees ,

Mother of justice,

defend me in my innocence, protect me from all harm,

the situations getting tense , time to raise the alarm .

Mother of justice,

Shelter me from all of those who intend to do me wrong. 

They’ve built a case to put me in a place I don’t belong .

 Mother of justice,

beat the drum ,ring the bell ,  send in the truth for everyone ,

let them know what’s going on , for I’m the innocent one .

Mother of justice,

show them that they are in the wrong and set the record straight ,

let justice walk in a poor man’s shoes before it’s too late .

been unfairly treated .

compensate those who have suffered

so reconciliation  can be
completed .
