Mother of my heart

I sent it to you in a thought ,

a prayer from deep in my soul .

 

I can’t explain the way I feel

now all of my thoughts you hold .

 

 

Mother of my heart

I will never ask when or how

I know that your help’s been sent .

Without a word I know you have heard

all of the things I meant .

 

 

Mother of my heart

I sent it to you in a spiritual way

in what I do  

every day of my life I feel ,  

I’m connected to you   .

 

Mother of my heart

I sent it there in what I write  

like a message to you there

like  a passion ,  I fashion

colourful images to share  .

 

Mother of my heart

I sent it to you on wings of love

to fly through the sky .

It never fails to satisfy

a love that will never die .
